The Gift of Time

Oh! Freak! Just a handful of days and then it’s my sister’s Birthday. How could I forget? I haven’t even decided on what to present her. At some time or the other, you must have atleast once been in the same shoes. Buying your buddies, family members or partners their favourite gadget, scent or whatever they must have been longing for, must have definitely put you at ease.
However, have you ever considered the idea of lending them a portion of your precious time? Even though the concept may seem artificial and philosophical but try recalling the most memorable celebration that you ever had. Was it not when your parents, siblings and pals secretly dedicated days and weeks chalking out a surprise party for you on your ‘big day’ ?
Undoubtedly, the ‘Gift of Time’ cannot be a substitute to the presents but can definitely be a pleasant supplement.
